The show title is L’origine del Mondo (The Origin of the World), after a notorious picture by Gustave Courbet hanging from a wall in the Musée d’Orsay, in Paris.
November 10th through 12th, 2017, “The Mall” – the new exhibition space in the Porta Nuova district – stages the first edition of GrandArt, Modern and Contemporary Art fair.

Sumirago is a village 15 km from Golasecca, Rosita Missoni’s birth place. Along with her son Luca and her daughter Angela, she is the owner of the homonymous fashion house.
Well known for its colorful garments, Missoni was founded by Rosita and her husband Ottavio “Tai” Missoni (1921-2013) in Gallarate in 1953.
