A Taste Of The Italian Art Scene In 2019
I go most of the art events within my reach. I do it for an online magazine that I publish along with my wife, also a photographer. The following is a short choice of exhibits I reviewed in 2019, mostly in Northern Italy or in bordering Switzerland.

I prefer shooting with the camera standing on a tripod, but often I don’t have this privilege, or I don’t have the time for an elaborate setup. For this very reason, occasionally, my ISOs tend to go rather high. In those cases, it’s just take-it-or-leave-it.
In February, I entered this very series of photographs for an award. Now I know I did not win. I did not even make the shortlist. However, now that I have come over it, the immense praise I reserve to my capabilities has suggested that I submit it to my affectionate public.
